WIL Research Company, Inc. is a privately held global Contract Research Organization that provides product safety toxicological research, bioanalytical, and formulation services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, agrochemical, and food products industries as well as manufacturing support for clinical trials.

WIL  Research Company was created to address global client needs and assist clients in accelerating product development by offering a range of services through a family of Contract Research Organizations; each with a strong reputation in the scientific community for consistently delivering the highest scientific and technical quality, expertise, flexibility and client attentiveness. Scientists in preclinical toxicology, preclinical and clinical bioanalysis, dosage formulation, and manufacturing for clinical trials, complemented with regulatory support services, work directly with clients to address their specific needs.

The realization of the WIL Research Company’s vision began with the
acquisition of WIL Research Laboratories (WIL) in 2004. Shortly thereafter, in 2005, NOTOX B.V. was acquired. These two organizations, each with a rich tradition of over 30 years of operating experience, form the company’s core toxicology services. Today, WIL Research Company consists of approximately 900 dedicated scientific, technical and support personnel with locations in the United States, Europe and Japan. The United States locations include WIL, located in Ashland, Ohio; Biotechnics, a provider of pathology services, located in Hillsborough, North Carolina; Midwest BioResearch, a provider of protein & small molecule bioanalysis and genetic toxicology, located in Skokie, Illinois; and, QS Pharma, a provider of dosage formulation development services, analytical support and clinical trial manufacturing, located in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. In Europe, NOTOX is located in s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. Our office serving Japan is located in Tokyo. The company is headquartered in Fairfield, NJ.
